A great anime based on the manga by Takahashi Rumiko. A normal girl gets sent back in time to medieval Japan, and becomes involved in a time-crossing quest to recover the pieces of the Shikon no Tama, a jewel which will give youkai (monsters other magical beasties) powers. She teams up with Inuyasha, who is half-youkai, to do this. Fun :-) Some IY avatars made from pictures found online; some from screen captures by equus_peduus.
