Alrighty, here goes...

So, to start with, all the avatars I made were 80x80 pixels. Which is a nice size, I think... big enough to see the picture, small enough that it doesn't mess up the format of threads, be fast loading, and stuff like that. So all my avatars were 80x80. Then my sister, random person, who runs RMT asked me if I'd put her avas up on my page, and I said sure... and all hers are 60x60 (btw, I only put hers up cos she's my sister... don't bother asking me to put your avatars up too... make your own page :P).

This worked fine til I found out that ezboard likes their avas to be 60x60. So now i'm in the process of making my 80x80s into 60x60s. The main page of each series shows the 60x60s, and you can click the button to see the 80x80s.

So... here's my file naming system. My normal 80x80 avatars are like so: CharacterA#.jpg

The Character's name is always capitalised. If there's more than one series with a character with the same name, I put something in indicating series. (YukiA1.jpg is Yuki from Fruits Basket; Yuki-gravA1.jpg is Yuki from Gravitation).
variation: sometimes, I've made avas with more than one character in it. If so, it'll be named something like TohruMomijiA1.jpg, indicating that both Tohru and Momiji are in it.

A stands for "avatar." Simple, no?
The twist: CharacterSA#.jpg: SA=small avatar. These are avas made by random person. So DracoSA1.jpg means it's a small avatar by rp of Draco.

    # means number. I numbered the avas, cos that makes them easy to keep track of 'n such. DarkA1.jpg is the first avatar of Dark I made. DarkA2.jpg is the second. And so on. SAs are numbered from 1 again.

When I shrink an ava to be 60x60, it gets an "s" added to the front (again standing for "small"). The filename is otherwise exactly the same. I've made a separate page for each series (or will when I get to it) to show all my smaller avatars. You can still tell which ones are rp's because the way the file was named. For example, Uncle Pom up in the corner there is "PomA1.jpg". His shrunk version is "sPomA1.jpg". I did this mostly so I could keep track of where each avatar came from.

The small avatars are on pages linked from each series' main page. If the link isn't there, I haven't gotten around to shrinking that series yet.
